Clinical Director
The clinic is under the direction of Dr. rer. nat. Christian Schmincke, biochemist and medical doctor for naturopathic treatment. After five years of work at the Max-Planck Institute in virus research, he studied medicine and then set up practice. He is trained in Chinese Medicine and respiratory therapy.
For more than 12 years now he has operated a general naturopathy practice. In 1996 he was one of the founding fathers of the Klinik am Steigerwald. He also teaches at the DÄGfA (Deutsche Ärztegesellschaft für Akupunktur – German Medical Association for Acupuncture) and other institutes.
